Helping Low-Income
Marylanders Since 1988

Marylanders Against Poverty (MAP) is a coalition of service providers, faith groups, and other organizations working together to advocate for statewide public policy and programs that help Marylanders living in or near poverty. Since 1988, MAP has worked to be a voice for the voiceless – speaking out on issues relating to welfare and other income supports, housing and homelessness, energy assistance, food and nutrition, health care, child care – and other issues of importance to Maryland’s most vulnerable residents.
